Sigma Phi Epsilon is not your typical campus organization. It prides itself on a unique brotherhood experience, as well as membership benefits that will last a lifetime. Through brotherhood events, socials with sororities, community service, and alumni relations, our fraternity can have a lasting impact on your life.
SigEp is one of the nation’s largest fraternities, and continues to grow due to the success of the Balanced Man Program. Through this system, one is given all the tools to help better themselves and become a more well-rounded person. We don’t break you down with needless hazing rituals and change you to what we want; we take the potential you already have and help you maximize it through a series of Challenges that make up the Balanced Man Program.
On campus, SigEp prides itself on breaking the “frat boy” image. Sigma Phi Epsilon holds the highest GPA among fraternities on campus. In addition, many prominent members of the Quinnipiac community, such as the current Student Government President Louis Venturelli, are members of SigEp. This past summer, our chapter was awarded the prestigious Buchanan Cup, the award given to the country’s top chapters. But don’t let the statistics fool you; the brothers of SigEp live by a “work hard, play harder” mentality. Our fraternity has many brotherhood events that allow you to have a great
time with friends and take a break from the stressful college life like our annual ‘Oktoberfest’ and ‘Siga-palooza’. In addition to the brotherhood events, SigEp has numerous events with other organizations on campus, especially sororities, which allow you to meet new people and have a good time doing it.
Sigma Phi Epsilon’s also organizes and runs ‘Hall Wars’, which has become a staple on the Quinnipiac campus. The event raised over $13,000 for YouthAids this past year, while helping promote friendship and unity within the freshman class. Our fraternity also regularly contributes to the neighboring communities by doing volunteer work and taking part in numerous community activities.
Through the award winning Balanced Man Program, a multi tiered process of continual growth, and our cardinal principals of Virtue, Diligence, and Brotherly Love, Sigma Phi Epsilon is truly "building balanced leaders for the world’s communities’.
